1. Information We Access and How We Use It

A. Photos and Media Storage

SnapMind requires access to your screenshots and media storage to analyze screenshots and extract text, dates, links, and actionable items.

• Images are processed locally on your device.
• Google ML Kit performs on-device OCR.
• No photos are uploaded to external servers.
• No cloud storage is used.

B. Contacts

SnapMind may access contacts to match phone numbers or names detected inside screenshots.

• Matching occurs locally on your device.
• Contacts are never uploaded or shared.
• We do not sell contact information.

2. Data Processing & Third-Party Services

SnapMind follows a privacy-first architecture.

• Uses Google ML Kit for on-device OCR.
• Text recognition works offline.
• Images and extracted text are not sent to external servers.
• No advertising trackers are integrated.
• No invasive analytics SDKs are used.

3. App Interactions (Smart Actions)

Smart Actions help users quickly interact with detected content.

• Uses standard Android intents.
• Does not use QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission.
• Does not scan your installed applications.
• Does not track app usage.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

SnapMind does not maintain a cloud database containing your personal information.

• Metadata is stored locally in SQLite.
• Data remains on your device.
• You can remove all data by uninstalling the app.
• You can also clear app data from Android Settings.

5. Children's Privacy

SnapMind does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

Since all data remains on-device, uninstalling the application removes local app data.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page along with a revised effective date.
